Julie Herbert MCSP BSc (Hons) MAACP

Specialisms – Musculoskeletal and Orthopaedic conditions, Domiciliary Elderly Rehabilitation

I qualified in 1999 as a Chartered Physiotherapist following which I pursued my career within the NHS. This has given me experience in treating a wide variety of ailments across all age groups.  I established my clinic, originally at The Folly, Hadham Road in Bishop’s Stortford in 2006.  In 2022, I set up my clinic in Great Hallingbury and moved permanently to my new location at The Street Barn in January 2023.

I am a Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a Member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MAACP). I am also a Member of Physio First.  Since October 2016, my clinic has been participating in Physio First’s Data for Impact study and I became a member of the Physio First Quality Assured Practitioner (QAP) scheme in May 2017.

I specialise in musculoskeletal/orthopaedic physiotherapy covering all soft tissue injuries and joint problems.  I also work with patients in the community offering Elderly Rehabilitation.

To maintain my registration with the professional bodies and to ensure I keep up to date with new techniques and training, I attend practical training courses, seminars and conferences every year.

I am registered with most private healthcare providers, including AXA PPP, WPA, Aviva, Simplyhealth, Vitality and Cigna. However, I have chosen not to continue to be registered with Bupa.

Natalie Hilliard BSc, MCSP

Specialisms – Domiciliary care, Elderly Rehabilitation, Neurological, Orthopaedic and Musculoskeletal conditions

Natalie graduated from the University of Hertfordshire with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy in 2005. Prior to this she graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Sports Science from Brunel University. After graduating from her Physiotherapy degree, Natalie worked in complex neurology, treating patients with traumatic head injury and spinal cord injury, as well as treating patients with long term neurological conditions such as MS, ME and Parkinsons Disease. During this time, she also treated patients with respiratory conditions and orthopaedic conditions.

For several years, Natalie led the therapy service in a large Specialist Nursing Home, managing therapy services for a varied case load including patients with complex neurological conditions, orthopaedic/post-operative needs and elderly patients who required rehabilitation.

For the last 6 years Natalie has specialised in an approach called Myofascial Release, working in outpatient clinics and visiting people in their own homes. Used in conjunction with other physiotherapy interventions, such as exercise therapy and other rehabilitation approaches, this approach is effective in the treatment/management of musculoskeletal pain, such as low back pain, shoulder pain and neck pain, as well as sporting injuries and orthopaedic conditions. This gentle treatment approach also helps improve function for patients with neurological conditions.

Natalie also has a special interest in chronic conditions such as ME and fibromyalgia and since covid-19, she is now seeing patients struggling with ‘long-covid’ symptoms.

Natalie is registered with AXAPPP, Cigna, WPA and SimplyHealth.

Natalie’s professional and caring approach to recovery has had a positive impact on my recovery from Long Covid. With a tailored specific approach to rehabilitation you can be assured that Natalie’s experience of working with Long Covid patients is heartfelt, sincere and comes from a genuine place to help.
